Hi there! I'm a Toronto-based engineer and researcher exploring the intersection of AI and blockchain at Vana. As part of the core team, I'm developing a user-owned data network for decentralized AI models, contributing to the Reddit Data DAO (a platform for collective data management), and worked on the macbook personal server implementation for self-hosted, portable data and fine tuned LLMs project.
My coding journey began early. At 17, I created a peer-to-peer content sharing platform that skyrocketed to the top 0.005% most visited websites globally in 2008, and among the top 10 in Ukraine (Alexa). I dropped out of high school to focus on this full-time until a crackdown across bittorrent projects brought it down.
I am always hacking on something new, from implementing bittensor miners for financial market predictions to an NFT virtual art gallery for my wife to display her work.
I'm interested in pushing the boundaries of user-owned data and hacking on new private-data based generative AI applications.
